I have a quick little update to make. I recently had the chance to watch my two favorite movies back to back, in order to make an official decision on which movie I prefer.

And now, I have an announcement.

My favorite movie is now Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.

You’ve probably noticed that the above image is now the page image for the site. That’s because it’s my favorite image from my favorite movie and it really shows what my imagination is like. Such a simple and beautiful image.

Now I am aware that there are people who don’t like this movie. And fair enough. But… on Rotten Tomatoes this movie has the grade of 37% Rotten. THIRTY-SEVEN PERCENT ROTTEN.

And THIS is the Critic’s consensus. “Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium’s title is much more fun that the film itself, as the colorful visuals and talented players can’t make up for a bland story.”

At this point, i’m almost questioning if I’m the crazy one for liking the movie so much. For my favorite movie should I have to settle with a movie thats more universally liked?

I know i’m not alone. Some people agree with me.

According to most of the world, this film is JUST a childrens film. To which I say,

“I’m sure, to you, it is.”
