Gotham Award Nominees

Well, I’ve often buzzed about the Gotham awards. They basically mark the beginning of the Awards season and they have very odd rules regarding eligibility, and they’re rarely that good at predicting Oscar nominees.

The Diary Of A Teenage Girl fared very well considering I haven’t really heard that much about it. Also, Brie Larson ended up being the sole representation of Room. (something I hope won’t happen at the Oscars.)

  1. I tend to agree with you on these as well. Larson seems like an easy win here, despite the fact that she also won (and against Oscar winner Cate Blanchett) in 2013.
