“It’s called an AFI Top Ten mention, sweetheart.”

So, I haven’t been keeping up with the awards updates like I should have been. But I absolutely HAD to talk about this. AFI released their list of their top ten films of the year.

Hacksaw Ridge
Hell Or High Water
La La Land
Manchester By The Sea
Moonlight
Silence
Sully
Zootopia

Now, I am fully aware that the AFI awards don’t have too much say in what the Academy votes for, but I am so stoked about Zootopia receiving a mention here. This might be the closest it gets in terms of the Best Picture race, but at least it has something.
