BEST ENSEMBLE CAST: Argo
Could Argo be the first Best Picture without a Directing nomination since Driving Miss Daisy? Maybe the Academy doesn’t think a director starring in his own movie has merit in their book. I think that everyone else has already talked about Argo‘s chances at winning. But one thing is for certain: this is one of the hardest years to call in recent memory.
BEST ACTOR: Daniel Day Lewis, Lincoln
Have you ever wondered what the real Lincoln would think of this performance?
BEST ACTRESS: Jennifer Lawrence, Silver Linings Playbook
Well, I guess the negative following with Zero Dark Thirty, and Weinstein’s campaign for Silver Linings Playbook are making things very easy for Katniss, the girl on fire
BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR: Tommy Lee Jones, Lincoln
This category is up in the air like confetti.
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Anne Hathaway, Les Misérables
Fun Fact: When asked her opinion on Harvey Weinstein, Hathaway responded, “He took my childhood in his stride.. but he was gone when autumn came..”
BEST STUNT ENSEMBLE: Skyfall
Hey, If you get signed on to be an extra for a movie where you get shot dead by James Bond, you wanna say yes!
